PCC registers win over Jammu Warriors by 7 wkts, enters into next stage

JAMMU, May 2: Patel Cricket Club (PCC) registered win over Jammu Warriors by 7 wickets and entered into the next stage of the ongoing JKCA Cricket Tournament at GGM Science College ground, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, Jammu Warriors made 149 runs by losing all the wickets in 33.3 overs. Sunny was the top scorer with 42 runs, while Vardaan made 30 runs and Saket scored 14 runs.
From PCC side, Sachin scalped 3 wickets, while Nityam and Raghav scalped 2 wickets each. Ramneek, Tayyab and Anchal took one wicket apiece.
In reply, PCC chased the targey by losing 3 wickets. Ahat Sham played a splendid inning of 77 runs, while Aryan Dogra scored 26 runs and Raghav chipped in 19 runs.
From Jammu Warriors side, Sunny scalped 2 wickets, while Akshay took 1 wicket.
Ahat Sham of PCC was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh and Saleem-ur-Rehman as umpires, while Rahul Kumar maintained the scorecard.
On the occasion, Justice CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA was the chief guest, who interacted with the players. Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO, JKCA, former Judge Jung Bahadur Singh, Member JKCA and many others were present on the occasion.
