JCC sails into final of Patriots Cup

JAMMU, May 2: Jammu Cricket Club (JCC) registered win over Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor by a huge margin of 124 runs and sailed into the final of the ongoing Patriots Cup at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, JCC made 307 runs. Shubham Pundir played a splendid inning of 114 runs off 77 balls, while Surya chipped in 51 runs and Yudhvir Singh contributed with 34 runs.
In reply, SCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 183 runs. Sunil was the top scorer with 57 runs, while Jatin Wadhawan chipped in 26 runs and Sonu Singh made 20 runs.
For JCC, Aman Sharma and Deepak Dogra took 3 wickets each, while Gurupratap and Yudhvir Singh scalped 2 wickets each.
In the second semis tomorrow, MGCA will take on Bhatia Cricket Club at same venue.
