Pankaj Sharma of MHAC Nagbani wins gold in U-17 Boys Triple Jump

JAMMU, Sept 4: Pankaj Sharma of MHAC School Nagbani won gold medal in Under-17 boys Triple Jump, while Vijay Singh of BSF School Paloura claimed silver in this event of the District Level Inter School Athletic Meet for boys (all age groups), which concluded at MA Stadium,here today.
In Triple Jump Under-19 boys, Paramveer of K C International School bagged gold, while Ruhisar Tickoo of BSF Paloura won silver and Sahil Mottan of MHAC Nagbani claimed bronze medal.
The Meet was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a part of the Annual Calendar of sports activities under the supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports and Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
In 200 Mtrs Under-19 boys, Rajinder Kumar of Govt. HS Marh won gold, Aman Tiwari of Model Academy clinched silver and Sahil of Govt. HS Rehal claimed bronze medal, while in 200 Mtrs Under-17 boys, Imran Farooq won gold,  Keshav Chib of MHAC Nagbani and Sajjad Hussain of Govt. HS Sagoon bagged silver and bronze medals respectively.
In 200 Mtrs Under-14 boys, Shakti Singh of Stephens International, Satvik Jamwal of BSF Paloura and Tamandeep Singh of APS Miran Sahib claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in 800 Mtrs Under-19 boys, Parvez Ahmed of Govt HS Narribala won gold and Rajat Kumar of Govt. HS Jourian got silver and in 800 Mtrs Under-17 boys, Harmanpal Singh of Banyan International School won gold, Shubham Chib of APS Kaluchak claimed silver.
In 4×100 Mtrs Relay Under-17 boys, MHAC Nagbani got first place, BSF Paloura won second position and APS Miran Sahib claimed third spot, while in 4×100 Mtrs Relay Under-19 boys, MHAC Nagbani, BSF Paloura and Banyan International claimed gold, silver and bronze respectively.
Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu distributed prizes among the winners and the participants in a simple and well attended function.
