DODA, Oct 14: Panchayat Gundna thrashed Panchayat Mohalla in final match and lifted the title trophy of the Volleyball event organised during two days Block Level Panchayat Tournament of block Gundna organised under centrally sponsored scheme PYKKA, which concluded today at GHSS, Mohalla.
On the concluding day, Incharge Principal, Vijay Kumar presided over the function and distributed prizes amongst the winners, in presence of naib sarpanch Shabir Ahmed, citizens and sports lovers.
The matches were officiated by Mohan Singh, Surjeet Singh, Jugal Kishore, Rajna Devi, Radha Devi, Rani Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Shashi Kant and Mohd Arif etc.
The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the guidance of SR Kotwal, DYSSO Doda and over all Supervision of KL Thakur.
OTHER RESULT:
In Kabaddi, Panchayat Khankoot beat-Panchayat Barshalla.
In Kho-Kho, Panchayat Mohalla defeated Panchayat Pershulla.
In Athletic, 100mts, Sajid Hissain of Panchayat Gundna (Gold), in 200mts, Abrar Hussain of Panchayat Gundna (Gold).
In Wrestling, 42kg, Ashraf Ahmed of Panchayat Kjhankoot claimed gold medal, while, Shabir Ahmed of Panchayat Aparsholla secured silver medal. In 54kg, Irfan Ahmed of Panchayat Jathali claimed Gold medal and Yasir Arfath of Panchayat Jathal secured Silver medal.
