JAMMU, June 1: A painting competition on the theme of “Indian Army–Saviors of the Nation” was conducted at Government High School, Dachan by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion based at Gool.
The painting competition was conducted to provide the young minds a platform to express their thoughts, knowledge and imagination on various facets of their interaction and impact of the involvement with the Army in their daily lives.
A total of 100 students from six schools participated in the competition.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners and consolation prizes to all the students.
Abdul Latif, a student of class VII said that such competitions are very knowledgeable and contribute towards national integration.
