BANDIPORA, Oct 13: The North Kashmir Football Premier League 2025, held in memory of Major Gopi Singh Rathore, Shaurya Chakra, concluded at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, here today.
Organized by Bandipora Rashtriya Rifles, the tournament featured a record 32 teams from Manasbal, Pohrupeth, Charkot and Pattan sectors. The competition was held in two phases, with the top two teams from each sector advancing to the finals. The grand finale saw Hyderbeigh FC, Yadipora clash with Meethu FC before an enthusiastic crowd of over 3,000 spectators. The event was attended by the General Officer Commanding, CIF (K), along with district officials and security forces. The league highlighted exceptional talent, discipline and sportsmanship, reinforcing Bandipora’s status as a sports hub in North Kashmir.
