POUNI, Dec 22: The Nature’s Lap International School, Pouni celebrated annual /prize distribution function in the school premises with enthusiasm and great zeal.
Captain Jagdish Raj Sharma, MD of the school was the chief guest. Parents and prominent eduationists of the area attended the function .the programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest .
The cultural programme included welcome song,dogri,english ,punjabi and patriotic action songs. The students displayed their talents and drew cheers. They presented a colourful cultural programme appreciated by the audience . The small kids displayed their skills in a perfect and beautiful manner.
The principal of the school Meenakshi Sharma presented welcome address wherein she spoke about the activities organised by the school in last one year. She stressed upon shaping the future of the children in such a way that they would be able to compete challenges of dynamic world over boldly.
The excelling students and teachers were awarded by the chief guest.the students who excelled in the previous year include Rahat Sharma, Kavneet Singh, Madhur, Sampuran, Vijay, Satyam, Naman, Redhima Sharma, Anshvir Singh, Vanshika, Harman Singh and Japkiran Kour.
The teachers who were awarded for their hardwork included Neelam Sharma, Ravinder Kour and Gurvinder Kour.
The programme ended with vote of thanks and national anthem.
