JAMMU, Nov 3: National Boxing Academy Rohtak, committed to identify and nurture boxing talent across the country shall conduct trials at Jammu from 9-11 November 2016.
NBA, working under the aegis of Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, trains selected boxers from all over the country for elite international competitions including Asian games, Olympics and world championships.
Boxers (Both male and female) from across the State in the age group of 12 to 25 years may report for the trials at MA Stadium boxing centre on all three days from 8 AM to 10 AM, along with Age verification certificate, Matriculation certificate, Sports achievement certificates, latest passport size photographs (5 no.).
The selection shall be made by the selection committee on the basis of the performance of the boxers.
National Boxing Academy is a world class training facility for the boxers that provides all facilities to the selected boxers including decent lodging and scientific boarding.
