JAMMU, Dec 21: President of Jammu and Kashmir Motor Sport Association (JKMSA), Narinder Mahajan inaugurated the second day events in the ongoing 11th Motorbike Dirt Track Racing Championship, being organized by JKMSA at Mini Stadium, Parade ground, here.
He was accompanied by Ranjit Singh Chib, Patron of the Association and Vikram Singh, General Secretary.
The first day of the Championship was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly in the presence of Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East in a well attended function yesterday.
Thirty bikers drawn from Jammu City and adjoining areas participated in this mega event, the objective of which is to promote local talent in this adventurous sport.
Meanwhile, after hard fought contest in the semifinal rounds, the contestants for the final have been cleared in the Championship.
The finalists included Gagandeep Singh, preetpal Singh, Amit Bhandari, Pradeep Manjotra, Jarnail Singh, Sunil Chauhan, Sanjay Sharma and Amardeep Singh.
