JAMMU, Apr 1: Bringing laurels to Jammu and Kashmir, a 30 year-old Munish Kumar son of Vijay Kumar Sharma resident of Marh, Jammu has won silver medal in National Championship of Para Powerlifting held at Delhi.
With his courage and strength, Munish won this medal by lifting 130, 138 and 141 kg in the 107+ kg weight (Senior) category. The championship was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. There were 150 participants from all over the country who participated in the competition apart from that 90 were officials. Munish said earlier also he had competed in the National Championship and Khelo India Para Games, in which he had secured eighth and fourth positions respectively.
