JAMMU, Sept 1: Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) outplayed KCSC-C team in a thriller by one wicket in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup 2019 at the Club’s ground, here today.
Earlier, KCSC-C won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, KCSC-C made 126 runs. Rahul Tandon, Muneeb Munaf and Siddharth Sahas Bhat scored 31, 25 and 17 runs respectively.
From MGCA, Anmol Bhan was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 important wickets, while Yudhamanyu Singh bagged 3 and Tahir Bhatt claimed one wicket.
Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy in reply chased the target in the 32nd over, losing 9 wickets in the process, thus won the match by 1 wicket. Suryansh Raina top scored with 26 runs, while Paras Sharma and Surya Mahotra contributed 17 and 14 runs respectively. From KCSC, Sampark Gupta and Samarpit Raina took 3 wickets each, while Ankush Gill claimed 2 wickets. Sampark Gupta was declared as the man of the match and was awarded with a Gift Voucher sponsored by Ramada Hotel.
