LG Mirchi Cricket League 2019

JAMMU, July 2: Cashing on the ongoing Cricket fever amidst Cricket World Cup, LG Electronics India organised LG Mirchi Cricket League in association with Mirchi 98.3 Jammu, wherein a friendly cricket match between LG XI and Media XI Cricket Club was played Indoors at KC Sports Club, here today.
Winning the toss, Media XI led by Vivek Suri elected to bat first and scored a modest total of 45 runs in the stipulated 15 overs. Yash, Ashu and Sunil contributed 11, 10 and 8 runs respectively. For LG XI, Udhesh was the wrecker-in-chief who took 3 wickets in his 3 overs, while Rajkumar claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, LG XI collapsed at paltry 14 runs and lost the match by 31 runs, courtesy- disciplined bowling by Media XI bowlers coupled with excellent fielding. Vivek Suri was the pick of the bowlers, who took 3 important wickets, while Dev Thakur claimed 2 wickets. Vivek Suri of Media XI was declared as the man of the match.
At the post match presentation, it was revealed that to celebrate and support Cricket World Cup, LG Electronics has launched attractive offers during cricket season where consumers have chance to win exciting LG products.
Mirchi Shwetima and Mirchi Nishant were present on the occasion to keep the fun alive.
