DODA, June 7: Masood Bhaderwah registered victory over Everest Bhalessa by 1 wicket and sailed into semis of the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium here.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Everest Bhalessa set a target of 156 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Yasir Rather played well and scored 42 runs, whereas Farooq contributed with 37 runs.
From Masood Bhaderwah side, Burhan Ganai, Khalid and Abid Mushtaq shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, Masood Bhaderwah chased the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Mohsin Najar was the highest scorer with 49 runs whileas Shafqat and Khalid contributed with 24 and 20 runs respectively.
From Everest Bhalessa side, Mubarak was pick-of-the-bowler with 4 wickets, whereas Saleem also bowled well and scalped 3 wickets.
Khalid of Masood Bhaderwah was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Ayush Sharma and Munish Zutshi as umpires whereas Waseem Raja acted as scorer.
