JAMMU, Oct 4: MAM College emerged champion in the Inter-Collegiate Wrestling (Men) Tournament, organised by the Department of Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) at GGM Science College, here today.
Prof (Dr) SP Sharma, Dean School of Sciences and Prof (Dr) Kaushal Smotra, Principal GGM Science College graced the occasion as special guests.
Around 50 Wrestlers from the constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu took part in the championship.
MAM College secured 35 points and claimed first spot, while GGM Science College remained 2nd with 24 points and SPMR College of Commerce was adjudged 3rd with 13 points.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator and Physical Director of GGM Science College, Prof Raj Kumar Gupta, Prof BK Gandotra, Dr Sham Singh Kotwal, Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director MAM College, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce, Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Science College and Anil Kumar, Assistant Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar were present on the occasion.
The match was officiated by Ravinder Kumar, Dr Kamal Sharma and Mohd Asif.
