JAMMU, Oct 4: Outplaying Vidushi convincingly in the summit clash, Iknoor lifted the junior girls’ title in the ongoing Jammu District Open Table Tennis Championship, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Table tennis Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Iknoor defeated her rival by (3-1) in the title clash.
Earlier, in junior girls’ semifinals, Iknoor defeated Ragini by (3-1) and Vidushi got the better of Suhani by (3-2).
In women’s singles, Iknoor will take on Suhani in the title clash as the ace peddlers won their semifinal battles against their rivals Ragini and Vidushi respectively.
In women’s semifinals, Iknoor beat Ragini by (3-2) and Suhani defeated Vidushi by (3-2).
In junior boys finals, Maanay drubbed Hanumat (3-0) to win the title.
In junior boys semifinals earlier, Hanumat defeated Akhilesh by (3-1), while Maanay outplayed Saksham by (3-0).
Akhilesh lifted the sub junior boys title, defeating Vishav in the finals by (3-2).
