JAMMU, May 2: A class Ist student of Heaven Kingdom School, Mahika Koul brought laurels to the State by securing first rank in 3rd International Science Olympiad (ISO) organised by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) in association with the British Council at State level.
Daughter of HL Koul and resident of Pamposh Colony, Janipur has also added feather to her cap by grabbing the first rank in the City and School Levels of the 3rd International Science Olympiad.
In the said Olympiad, Mahika secured 32 marks out of total 35 and was adjudged first in the aforesaid categories at J&K and Himachal Pradesh zone level and 518th rank at international level.
For the Academic year 2012-13 more than 24,000 schools from over 1,000 cities were registered for Olympiads and millions of students appeared in them.
