JAMMU, Dec 25: Luthra College of Education and Public School Talab Tillo Jammu celebrated its 14th Annual Day with pomp and show, here today.
Rashid Azam Inqlabi, Director School Education, Jammu was the chief guest, while MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma and Anil Gupta graced the occasion with their presence.
Earlier, Principal of the School, Sanjeev Luthra presented welcome address, which was followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The students performed various activities, which included dancing, singing etc.
The students of BEd College and the students of secondary classes demonstrated their activities with vigour and dedication.
The function started with Saraswati Vandana sung by class 6th students.
The chief guest awarded trophies and prizes to the students, who excelled in different activities. Cash prizes were also distributed among the students who have excelled in Board Examination.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Inqlabi stressed upon the students as to how to cope up with the challenges of life, while School Alumni Sat Sharma focused on success mantra, hardwork and ethics.
Mr Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
