JAMMU, Dec 24: Luthra Group of Institutions Kachi Chawani and Talab Tillo celebrated its 56th Annual Day function with pomp and show at Luthra Educational Complex, Talab Tillo, here today.
The inaugural lighting of lamps was done by the chief guest, GA Mir, president JKPCC.
Other luminaries who graced the occasion were.Rigzin Jora MLA and CLP Leader, Anil Chopra President DCC Urban Jammu, Rajeev Luthra Chairman Luthra Public School, Sanjeev Luthra Principal of Luthra Public School Talab Tillo and Mrs Anuradha Luthra Principal Luthra Hr sec. School Kachi Chawani.
The welcome speech was presented by Vice Principal, Anuradha Kotwal and annual report was presented by Sanjeev Luthra, Principal Luthra Public School.
It was the day of extravagant event as different classes performed different activities like dancing, songs and other items of cultural activities. The amazing kids of Shemrock Angels graced the occasion with their beautiful dance performance and sweet smiles. The whole function was hosted by Gulshan Rattan and Komal Manhas successfully.
During the function, Anuradha Luthra and Rajeev Luthra also presented a speech in the memory of Lt BR Luthra, founder Chairman of Luthra Group of Institutions.
Chief guest awarded the trophies and prizes to the students who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities.
The chief guest, GA Mir greeted and conveyed his good wishes to all the students ,teachers and parents present on the occasion. He emphasized on the value and importance of education. Rigzin Jora also blessed the institution for better future and wished everyone a bright and Happy New Year.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Sanjeev Luthra.
