JAMMU, Dec 24: Shivalik Heights Public School, Gurha Mundian celebrated its Annual Day with great pomp and show in its premises, here today.
Surjit Singh Slathia, Ex Minister was the chief guest and ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides was the guest of honour.
Yog raj Sharma, Principal of the School while thanking chief guest and other dignitaries laid stress on the importance of education to the children.
The programme began with Ganesh Stuti and Saraswati Vandna. The children of the school performed many cultural items in colourful dresses.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest stressed parents to cooperate with school authorities in providing better education to their children.
Mr Soni also addressed the audience on the occasion.
The programme ended with prize distribution.
