Lecture series organized by SMVDS

KATRA, Feb 24: Ten day Lecture series was organised by School of Biotechnology, SMVDU, under visiting Professor fellowship of ‘DST special S&T support to J&K State.
Eminent Professor and Chief Scientist Prof M V Deshpande from NCL, Pune delivered lectures on Fungal Biotechnology and its growing applications towards sustained agriculture for the development of Biocontrol agents and antifungal activities.
The lectures were attended by faculty members, Staff, Research scholars, M.SC Biotechnology and B.Tech(IBT) students of SBT.
The visiting Professor in his 10 day visit interacted with the faculty members and students of SBT and discussed about various possibilities for collaborative research between SMVDU and NCL, Pune.
The lecture series was coordinated by Dr Shafaq Rasool, AP, SBT and Prof V Verma, Dean Faculty of engineering and Director SBT.
