Ladakh gets world’s highest ‘Bungee jumping’

LEH, May, 22: The UT of Ladakh got world’s highest ‘Bungee jumping’ on Zanskar River which was inaugurated by Member Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at Tsogsti village, here today.
Located at a distance of five kilometres from the Sangham, the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River, the world’s highest Bungee jumping sport, is expected to attract more tourists in Tsongsti village, said Member Parliament after the inauguration.
Owner Sonam Wangyal said that it’s a world famous sport and he decided to set up in Ladakh at a site on Zanskar River where 90 degree cliff is perfectly suitable for adventure lovers to jump upto a height of 190 feet from the ground. Sonam who himself trained to run this sport assured all safety measures for all visitors.
