KUPWARA, Oct 31: The District Kupwara Tennis Ball Cricket Championship 2025 concluded with great enthusiasm at the Galizoo Stadium, marking two days of intense cricketing excitement and youthful energy. The event showcased some of the finest emerging cricketing talents from across the district, celebrating the true spirit of sportsmanship.
In a thrilling final match, Young Rising Stars emerged as Champions, defeating United Sports Kupwara, who put up a spirited fight to finish as Runners-Up. The closing ceremony was graced by Aadil Manzoor, Captain, Team India Ice Stock Sport, as chief guest, who congratulated the winners and hailed Kupwara’s immense sporting potential. He lauded the district’s youth for their passion and urged them to pursue excellence in every field.
Neelofar, Secretary General, District Kupwara Tennis Ball Cricket Association, attended as guest of honour, appreciating the successful organization and vibrant participation. National Pencak Silat medallists Zakir Hussain and Sozan Nazir also inspired players with their presence. As the tournament concluded amid cheers and celebration, the event stood as a testament to Kupwara’s growing sports culture and its youth’s unwavering dedication and spirit of fair play.
