SRINAGAR, June 24: University of Kashmir today hosted a cricket match between Jammu wing of PAG and Kashmir wing of PAG which was played at University ground here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Account General J&K, Subash Chandra Panday impressed upon the participants that the basic aim to hold such type of event is to develop the team spirit amongst the players and the togetherness which he said is necessary for prevalence of good work culture.
On the occasion Registrar KU, Prof Zaffar A Reshi expressed his pleasure for hosting the visit of Principal Accountant General‘s team and said that the visit provided an opportunity to understand each other better and the University has always lead from the front when it comes to hospitality.
Earlier, Munish Kumar, Accountant General, briefed the participants about the basic purpose of organizing such events and said that while giving priority to audits it is also important that the officials should participate in recreational activities.
Beside members of Internal Audit team of KU, faculty members from several departments, Director Directorate of Physical Education Kashmir University Prof Bashir Ahmad Khan was also present on the occasion.
