JAMMU, Mar 26: Vinayaka Cricket Club (VCC) won the first match of KPL-VII by defeating Alpha Cricket Club (ACC), being played at KC Sports Ground, here today.
Batting first, Alpha CCa made 103 runs by losing 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs, wherein Rakesh made highest 31 runs. From the bowling side, Vinayaka Bazaz, Sumit and Sunil took 2 wickets each.
For VCC, Ashwani made 41 runs, while Bazaz made 19 runs in 13 balls.
Bazaz was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance with ball and bat.
