RAJOURI, Nov 9: Kalidhar Memorial Army School (KMAS), Sunderbani, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork among students. Over 325 students and 48 teachers participated in the grand event that featured Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Tug of War and Yoga competitions.
Students also showcased NCC drill demonstrations and Karate performances, displaying precision, discipline and skill. The event was graced by Brigadier Jaidev Singh Aswal, Commander, Kalidhar Brigade, who encouraged the young athletes with his inspiring words and presented medals and certificates to the winners.
Principal Neeru Sharma appreciated the enthusiasm of students and staff, stating, “The true victory lies in participation and learning. Every student who took part today is a winner in spirit.”
The celebration echoed the Khelo India motto “Play and Progress” and the slogan “Fit India, Strong India,” promoting the importance of physical fitness for national growth. A student expressed joy, saying, “Sports Day was an amazing experience! I loved participating in the relay race and winning the gold medal.”
