Khatiba won Gold in National Pencak Silat C’ship

SRINAGAR, Jan 21: Khatiba Arshid, student of the J&K Police Public School Bemina, Srinagar won Gold medal in the 10th Sub Junior and Junior (Boys and Girls) National Pencak Silat Championship, held from  January 13 to 16 at District Sports Complex, Shri Guru Gobind Ji Stadium, Nanded Maharashtra.
Khatiba Arshid- a six year old student, hailing from the Saidapur Idhgah area in Srinagar city was part of the Indian contingent of the Pencak Silat team consisting of 42 members including 36 players, coaches, and staff from across the country which included eight players and three coaches from Jammu and Kashmir.
It was a matter of pride for her to represent her School in the National competition and to win this prestigious Gold medal. The Principal and administration of the School delighted with her success and extended their heartfelt congratulations to her and her family.
