poonch, 28: Khalsa Club defeated Stadium XI by four goals to nil in the Football Tournament, organized by 93 Inf Brigade in connection with Army link up day celebration at Sports Stadium here, today.
The Tournament is being held under Operation Sadbhavana.
For Stadium XI, Matinderpal Singh scored 2 goals, while Maqsood and Rubel singh netted one goal each.
MLA Haveli Poonch, Shah Mohd Tantray was the chief guest on the occasion, who was accompanied by Lt Col, Ashish Chopra, Lieutenant CB Balwara, Sham Lal Sharma, retired SAI hockey coach, Principal Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch, besides Nirdosh Kumar, In-charge Sports Stadium Poonch and Ravinder Singh.
The match was officiated by Jatinder Sharma and Mukesh Kumar.
