JAMMU, Oct 23: Table Tennis Championship in the men’s category was held at the ultra modern Table Tennis Courts of KC Sports Club today.
Twelve players participated in the tournament with immense zeal and healthy competitive spirit.
At the end of the preliminary fixtures, Ankush Singh Jamwal beat Shubam in the first semifinal by 10-6, 10-8.
The second semi-final was played between Sahil Singh Langeh and Sahil Mahajan in which Sahil Singh Langeh emerged winner with a score of 10-7,10-6.
The final match between Ankush Singh Jamwal and Sahil Singh Langeh turned out to be a cliff hanger and eventually Ankush Singh Jamwal won the match by a margin of 10-5, 10-8. Ankush Singh Jamwal emerged as the champion.
