JAMMU, Sept 27: KC International School hosted the Inter-School Swimming Competition 2025, featuring top young swimmers from Jammu’s leading schools. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer. Guests of honour included Ramandeep Singh Soodan, President of the J&K Swimming Association, Vikas Magotra, Senior Swimming Coach, Sports Council Jammu, Chaitanya Chowdhary, President KCIS and Principal Anupama Sinha.
Swimmers competed fiercely in Under-12, Under-14 and Under-17 categories. KC Public School emerged as the champions, with KC International School finishing second and Jodhamal Public School securing third place.
In his address, Sharma emphasized the role of sports in holistic development and urged young athletes to stay disciplined and dedicated. The event celebrated teamwork, perseverance, and healthy competition. The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks from Principal Anupama Sinha, followed by the National Anthem, fostering a spirit of pride and unity among participants and spectators alike.
