SAMBA, Mar 3: Inter Panchayat block level football tournament concluded today here at Maharaja Suchet Singh Stadium, with Kartar Football Club Samba winning the finals.
The final match of tournament was played between Baba Hasel Dev FC Vijaypur and Kartar Football Club Samba in which latter won the final match by one goal to nil (1-0 ).
The chief guest at the final match was Senior Superintendent of Police, Shakti Pathak. He gave away cash prize of twenty thousand to the winners and medals to the participating players.
He showered praise on the athletes and encouraged them to keep practicing the football game and bring laurels for their family, friends, home town and the nation.
District Youth Services Sports Officer Samba, Kiran Jyoti; Raghuvir Singh ex-N D S teacher and Iqbal Singh, Coordinator were present on the occasion.
