JAMMU, July 6: J&K’s wicketkeeper batsman, Kanahiya Wadhawan, who along with another player from the State, Mujtaba Yousuf represented North Zone in the Inter Zonal Under-16 Cricket Tournament, excelled by scoring 160 runs and scalping 11 victims behind the stumps.
In the last match played against East Zone, which North Zone lost by a big margin of 213 runs, Kanahiya was the top scorer with 60 runs, while Sanat Sangwan from Deldi and another J&K boy Mujtaba Yousuf contributed 32 and 15 runs respectively.
For East Zone, Vishwas scored magnificent 105 and Preetish contributed brilliant 84 runs in their innings of 384, while North Zone bundled out for 170 runs.
