SRINAGAR, July 29: The three-day J&K Referee Kabaddi Course Level-1 was inaugurated at Bakshi Stadium, here today organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association in association with the J&K Sports Council.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Sarmad Hafeez, Commissioner Secretary of Social Welfare who served as chief guest; Nuzhat Gull, Secretary of J&K Sports Council; Nusrat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer (Kashmir) and Mushtaq Ahmad, Manager of Bakshi Stadium.
He extended his best wishes to the nearly 90 participating Kabaddi officials from across the Union Territory. He urged all sports associations affiliated with the council to host similar referee development initiatives, aiming to uplift officiating standards and enhance the quality of kabaddi competitions in the region.
Other prominent attendees included Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and Technical Director of the International Kabaddi Federation; International Referee Rana Ranjeet Singh from Bihar; Approved Technical Referee Dhana Shree from Maharashtra; and district secretaries from Baramulla, Budgam, Srinagar, Kathua and Jammu.
