All India VC’s T-20 Tourney

JAMMU, Nov 11: The University of Jammu cricket team continued its impressive form by defeating RTM University, Nagpur by 91 runs to secure a place in the quarterfinals of the ongoing All India Vice-Chancellor’s T-20 Cricket Tournament at LUVAS University, Hisar, Haryana.
Batting first, Jammu posted a formidable total of 217 in 20 overs. Niranjan Singh led with 57 runs, while Vishal Sudan contributed 50. Useful cameos came from Shami (24), Raj Kumar Bakshi (19), Rajesh (17), and Shantul (16), helping the team surpass 200 runs.
In reply, RTM University was restricted to 126 runs. Nilesh Rotke top-scored with 51. Jammu’s bowling was exceptional, with Shantul Raina taking 4 wickets for 29 runs, supported by Karan (2/24), Balwant Singh (2/20), Raj Kumar Bakshi, and Rajesh. Shantul Raina was named Man of the Match.
