JAMMU, Nov 7: The University of Jammu recorded a resounding 115-run victory over GADVASU Ludhiana in the All India Vice-Chancellor’s T-20 Tournament being played at Ludhiana. Batting first, Jammu posted 177 for 7 in 20 overs, with Vishal top-scoring with 50, supported by Shami (30), Balwant Slathia (20), Raj Kumar Bakshi (17), Niranjan (16) and Shantul (15).
GADVASU struggled in reply, bowled out for 62 runs in 12.5 overs. Raj Kumar Bakshi starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 13 runs, while Karan, Shantul, and Balwant picked up two wickets each. Balaji scored 22 for GADVASU. Bakshi was declared Man of the Match for his all-round performance. Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba and JUNTEU officials congratulated the team and wished them success in upcoming matches.
