JAMMU, Dec 22: JP World School celebrated Annual Day with a colourful cultural programme in the school premises, here today.
Dr Panna Manhas Choudhary was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Head Girl of the school presented the welcome address.
The cultural programme began with the invocation of Goddess Saraswati, who is known as the Goddess of education.
The school children presented various colourful items like dances, group songs and plays.
The performances of the students were lauded by the audience.
Principal of the school read out the annual report of the school highlighting the achievement of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
The award of the “Student of the Year” was given to Sahil of class 12th.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Head Girl of the school “Seerat Baaji”.
The programme concluded with the national anthem.
