Jodhamal students excel at MCGSMUN 2026

JAMMU, Apr 21: Jodhamal Public School reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and global engagement through its participation in the Mayo College Girls’ School Model United Nations (MCGSMUN) 2026, held in Ajmer from April 16 to 19.
The conference brought together students from leading institutions across the country for deliberations on pressing global issues. Representing Jodhamal were Vanshaj Sharma, Ayaansh Gupta, Aarit Gupta, Pavit Singh, Reyaan Thappa and Mohd Ibrahim, who displayed confidence, articulation, and diplomatic skills throughout the event. The delegation was accompanied by Vishal Samrat and mentored by Raghunandan, Namrata Sharma, and Bhawana Madan.
Students participated in various committees, engaging in debates, negotiations and policy discussions, gaining exposure to international relations and global governance. Adding to the school’s achievements, Pavit Singh of Class XI received a Special Award in the UNW Committee for his research, communication, and analytical abilities.
The conference was graced by chief guest Amitabh Ranjan, Registrar at IIPA, New Delhi, who shared insights from his experience in civil services, inspiring the young delegates.
Director Deep Khare and Principal Amita Arora congratulated the students for their performance. Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Director Arati Kuthiala also appreciated the team’s efforts. The school said its participation reflects its focus on nurturing leadership, critical thinking, and global awareness among students.
