JAMMU, Dec 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA) today held a programme to honour 62nd National Roller Skating Championship medal winners.
The ceremony was attended by Minister for Youth Services and Sports (YS&S), Satish Sharma and Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul at MA Stadium Jammu.
The Jammu and Kashmir contingent won a total of 12 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals in various categories. The athletes who brought home these prestigious accolades included Tabish Haider (Silver Medal, 500m Inline), Tamanna Saini (Bronze Medal, 500m Inline), Puneesh Puri (Two Gold, One Silver Medal, Quads Event), Udhay Narayan (Gold Medal, Quads Event), Arshiyot Singh (Two Gold, One Silver Medal, Quads Event), Rajveer Singh (Three Gold Medals, Quads Event), Samarjot Singh (One Silver, One Bronze Medal, Quads Event), Sudesh (Two Bronze Medals, Para Medical), Samiksh (Bronze Medal, Free Style Classical), Dhruv Gupta (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Varun Anand (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Jaideep Singh (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Parth Slathia (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Smaksh (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Jaipreet Singh (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Hitteshwar Singh (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Rajan Slathia (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Rakshak Jandial (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Paras Verma (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Jasvinder Singh (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Rahil Chaudhary (Gold Medal, Hockey Inline Senior), Jugraaj Singh (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Jatin Sabarwal (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Rupinder Paul Singh (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Darpan Gargotra (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Piyush Mahajan (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Maheshwar Sharma (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Aryan Guptak (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Eklavya Sambyal (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), Ankush Gupta (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior), and Akash Saluja (Silver Medal, Roller Hockey Senior).
Additionally, athletes such as Bhavanya Bhagat, Navdeep Kour, Zayafat John, Vanya Raina, Hridyansh Chib, Siya Jandial, Kyran Gupta, Aamyaa Vashishth, Tabid Hussain, and Vanishree secured Gold Medals in the Sub Junior Mix category, while Bhavanya Bhagat, Zayafat John, Ridyansh Chib, Namish Gupta, Kyran Gupta, Aarav Dafara, Rajanya Khajuria, Dhruv Sadotra, Tabid Hussain, and Aahan Sharma earned Gold Medals in the Sub Junior Boys category. In the Master Roller Hockey category, Ankush Kohli, Vikram Gupta, Rai Barinder Singh, Arvindeep Singh, Krish Gupta, Rajesh Anand, and Gagan Singh Jamwal won Gold Medals. In the Cadet Mix category, Gurjas Singh, Aaradhya Sanyal, Riansh Sharma, Kanisha Jain, Bhumik Singh Salathia, Trisha Jamwal, Parmarth Bral, Ayraa Vashishth, Abheek Digra, and Shawini Mahajan took home Silver Medals, while Jugraaj Singh, Antra Mahajan, Jatin Sabarwal, Aarohi Mahajan, Rupinder Paul Singh, Tapur Sharma, Darpan Gargotra, Czia Raina, Ankush Gupta, and Aiyza Chib clinched Bronze Medals in the Senior Mix category.
