JKFA election on May 15

JAMMU, May 8: The elections for the posts of president, treasurer and vice presidents of J&K Football Association for the next Term of 4 years would be held on May 15, 2013 at at Polo Ground Srinagar.
According to a handout issued here, the Congress of General Council of JKFA is the authorized body who has to elect the Office Bearers of JAKFA for the next four year Term pursuant to the Article 22 of the new Constitution of JAKFA.
It is pertinent to mention here the Congress comprises of delegates from all District units and eligible Football Clubs besides all District Members. Meanwhile, the post of general secretary of the Association is to be filled by appointing a suitable candidate on permanent basis.
