JAMMU, Nov 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association’s (JKCA) U-23 Women’s cricket team will depart for Nagpur tomorrow to participate in the upcoming T20 Tournament, scheduled to begin on November 24.
The 15-member squad is led by Rudrakshi Chib as captain, with Mariya Noorain serving as vice-captain and Latika taking charge as wicketkeeper. The team also includes Bawandeep Kaur, Ananaya Sharma, Neemami Slathia, Maroof Anjum, Manya Banotra, Kajal Devi, Khushboo Aftab, Ridhima Rajput, Ronak Jahan, Shambhavi Rajput, Arveen Riyaz and Mubeena Ali, combining experienced players with young talents from the region.
The squad will be accompanied by Huwaid Hamid, Head Coach and Irshad Hassan, Manager, along with five members of the support staff. JKCA officials expressed confidence that the team will showcase skill, teamwork, and competitive spirit, aiming to perform strongly in the national-level tournament while gaining valuable experience for future competitions.
