J&K Speedball team leaves for Kanpur

JAMMU, Dec 26:J&K Sports Speedball Association selected 16 players who left for Kanpur to participate in Speedball Premier League Championship 2012, to be organized by Speedball Association of India from December 29 to December 31, 2012.
Before their departure, Indra Bhalla, Chairperson  J&K Speedball Association and vice president  Vijay Gupta motivated the players to showcase their talent upto the maximum level.
Sunny Nanda World Medallist in France  from the State has been invited by the Federation of India as technical official of the event.
J&K team will be participating under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Speedball Association, recognized  by J&K Olympic Association.
The team: Manthan Pandoh, Shrea Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Sarthak Luthra, Bobby Kotwal, Veermanu Singh, Rhea Tikku, Gurmanjeet Singh, Aryan Kangotra, Pranay Gupta, Robin Kalsotra, Rakha Kumar, Reema Sharma, Tajinder Kour, Ritik Sharma and Farooq Khan.
Sunny Nanda is accompanying the team as coach, while Sahil Janjua  and Reema Sharma are accompanying the team as head boy and head girl respectively.
