JAMMU, Jan 3: Jammu and Kashmir Softball men and women teams are all set to participate in the 36th Senior Softball Championship which is scheduled to be held at Nagpur, Maharashtra from January 6 to 11. The teams will leave to participate in the championship tomorrow.
The men team players are Padam Dev (Captian), Vishal Chib, Rawat Singh, Verinder Singh, Sandeep Sani, Sachin Jamwal, Anil Choudhary, Jasbir Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Ayush Singh, Ankit Bhat, Aman Singh, Tariq Ahmad, Sahil Thapa, Ajay Singh and Rakesh Singh.
The women team players are Rashmi Bhau, Bipna Devi (Captain) Priyanka Manhas, Samiksha Mardan, Nayna, Ashima Pathania, Sanjogita, Gulshan Begum, Monika Manhas, Usmat Hanief, Zahida, Samdeep Kour, Farida, Surekha Rani, Shehar Hussain and Inderpal Kour.
The teams will be accompanied by Rohit Singh Jamwal, Ashwani Jaral, Deeraj Singh and Muneera Malik.
Prior to the participation in 36th Senior Softball Championship, J&K Softball Association conducted two days open trials on December 21 and 22, followed by 11 days coaching camp at GGM Science College ground.
The Screening was held by Sports Council on January 1.
