JAMMU, July 25: The Jammu & Kashmir Bocce Ball team has arrived in Chhattisgarh to take part in the National Level Bocce Ball Championship organized by Special Olympics Bharat – Chhattisgarh, scheduled from July 24 to 28, 2025.
The event was inaugurated in a grand ceremony attended by a local MLA, who interacted with athletes and coaches from J&K, applauding their dedication and encouraging their continued efforts in sports. The championship has drawn participation from 22 states across India, making it a vibrant celebration of inclusivity and talent.
The organizing committee extended special thanks to Sunny Nanda, Assistant Director of Special Olympics Bharat – J&K, for his continuous support and leadership. They also expressed interest in collaborating with him to further promote inclusive sports across the country.
