SRINAGAR, June 23: Defeating J&K PDC by a solitary goal in the semifinals today, J&K Bank qualified for the finals of the State Football Championship 2013 and will be locking horns with the winner of the second semifinal between J&K Forest and J&K Police.
Though, both the teams played brilliantly in both the halves, yet it was J&K Bank which managed to score a goal through Danish in 56th minute of the match to help his team register an exciting win.
Meanwhile, in the match of ‘A’ Division League Football Tournament, Young Iqbal Football Club defeated Fortview FC by 2 goals to nil (2-0). Showkat scored the first goal in 22nd minute of the match, while Faizal pelted the second goal in 53rd minute.
In the League Tournament, Kashmir United FC will take on Novelty FC tomorrow.
