REASI, Sept 29: District Level Inter-School Athletic Meet for boys, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports got underway at Zorawar Sports Stadium, here in which around 160 students drawn from 25 institutions are participating.
In under-14 (100 meters), Mohammad Altaf of HS Kambal Danga, Karan Kumar of MS Lower Seela and Mohd Imran of MS Talwara clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 200 meters, Arif Mushtaq of Amba Kids Home Panthal, Bindas Singh of Bharatiya Vidhya Mandir Reasi and Sunil Kumar of HS Sirla Bhagga secured first, second and third positions respectively, in 400 meters, Mohammad Altaf of HS Kambal Danga, Javed Iqbal of Amba Kids Home Panthal and Romesh Singh of HS Kheralair claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 (100 meters), Sunil Kumar HSS Pouni, Jagdish Singh of BHSS Reasi and Sahil Kumar of BHSS Reasi bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 High Jump, Jaswant Singh of HSS Bharakh, Adrees Ahmed of BHSS Reasi and Ankush Sharma of HS Kambal Danga clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in under-19 Long Jump, Vishal Kumar of BHSS Reasi, Jaswinder Singh of HSS Bharakh and Aamir Khan of HS Sirla Bhagga secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 High Jump, Jaswinder Singh of HSS Bharakh, Rajesh Singh of BHSS Reasi and Shabir Ahmed of BHSS Reasi claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Long Jump, Arif Mushtaq of Amba Kids Home Panthal, Vishal Kumar of Bharatiya Vidhya Mandir and Sameer Thappa of MS Lower Seela clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 Long Jump, Pardeep Singh of HSS Bharakh, Naresh Singh of HSS Salal and Amit Sharma of HSS Panthal claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-17 Shotput, Rabin Singh HSS Bharakh, Aman Sharma of Bharatiya Vidhya Mandir and Rahul Sharma of HS Laiter secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 Shotput, Rajesh Singh of BHSS Reasi, Anil Singh of HSS Salal and Vishal Verma of HSS Pouni claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Shotput, Mohammad Altaf of HS Kambal Danga, Karan Singh of HSS Bharakh and Shakeel Magar of MS Talwara clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-14 Discuss Throw, Javid Iqbal of Amba Kids Home Panthal, Karan Kumar of MS Lower Seela and Antrik Sharma of Bharatiya Vidhya Mandir bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-19 Javelin Throw, Vishal Kumar of HSS Pouni, Narinder Singh of HSS Katra and Surinder Singh of BHSS Reasi clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
