Jammu’s Antriksh to represent India at Roll Ball C’ship in Oman

JAMMU, Sept 6: In a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir, Antriksh Gupta, an 18-year-old Roll Ball player from Jammu, has been selected to represent Team India at the 1st Five Nations Invitational Roll Ball Championship in Oman, scheduled from September 11 to 14.
The prestigious event is organized by the International Roll Ball Federation (IRBF) and features top young talent from five nations, showcasing the dynamic and fast-paced sport of Roll Ball on a global stage.
Antriksh, son of Sandeep Gupta and Vaishali Gupta, has consistently excelled at state and national levels, earning a well-deserved place on the national team. “It’s a dream come true to wear the Indian jersey. I’m grateful to my coaches, parents and everyone who supported me,” said Antriksh.
His coach, Madhu Sharma, praised his dedication and expressed confidence in his international performance. The J&K Roll Ball Association congratulated Antriksh and thanked the J&K Sports Council for its ongoing support of the sport.
