JAMMU, Oct 19: 1st Jammu District Hapkido Championship (KYROGI), organized by Jammu District Hapkido Association under the aegis of Amateur Hapkido Association of Jammu & Kashmir, concluded at Indoor Sports Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
About 125 boys and girls from different parts of the District and Sports Clubs took part in the championship.
Mohd Shahran, Ashatulla, Siddid Khajuria, Adit Sadhotra, Angad, Savya Sharma, Smarth, Raghav Saini, Boby Kumar Baitha, Shivam, Manohar Khokhar, Manish Sehgal, Manish Gill, Adil Khan, Sadeep Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Karan Rajput, Harsh Dhotra, Sandeep Kumar, Ibrahim, Abhishek, Ashita, Neelakshi, Pranya Rekhi, Ramya Kharbanda, Mannat Dogra, Tarika Jain, Niharika Verma, Simran Tak, Poli Devi, Yanchin Lamo, Shivali Rajput, Kavita Devi, Swati Sharma, Tanisha Mahajan, Vidushi Gupta and Anju Devi clinched Gold medals, while the Silver medal was secured by Yuvraj, Shashant Gupta, Saksham Sadotra, Vastal Mehra, Abu Bakar, Pratham, Rizwan, Vidhan Zutshi, Divyanshu Radha, Karan Singh Rajput, Bhanu Partap Singh, Harveer Singh, Jaideep Singh, Vasu Gupta, Rashid Aslam, Mariam Khan, Ojaswani, Sehar Vaid, Ravya, Dhani Gupta, Shallu Devi, Khushi Gupta, Sanchita Sharma, Pooja, Lakshita Verma, Aisha Vaid and Arti Goria.
The Bronze medals were secured by Aadvik Gupta, Mohd Ayaan, Rajveer, Manjot Singh, Raghav Vaid, Adheesh, Mohad Musaib, Akshu Sharma, Surinder, Prikshit, Jai Kharbanda, Mohd Mujtaba, Zubair, Karna Kumar, Amir Sheikh, Aquib, Arif Batthi, Ansh Sharma, Amul Sotra and Reena.
In the inauguration function, Zahur Ahmed Sheikh, chairman Jammu Muslim United Form was the chief guest, while Narinder Gupta chairman Jammu and Kashmir PCC Sports Cell was the guest of honour and Rohit Khajuria was the special guest.
President Parvez Iqbal Mir, vice president Gul-e-sara-Khan and Anwar were the guests of honour of the closing ceremony, while Muzamil Mehmood was the special guest. Ritika Jamwal Judo coach Incharge (Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar) was also present.
