Jammu boy Chirag gets contract with Universal Music Group

JAMMU, Dec 12: For his melodious voice and singing style, the young star of Jammu, Chirag Kotwal got contract with Universal Music Group after standing second in the Max I Genius Young Singing Stars Season-2 held at Hotel Taj Vevanta in Mumbai.
Out of around one lakh entries, only ten singers were selected from all over the country for this prestigious event.
Son of Sandeep Kotwal and Alka, Mr Chirag, a student of BSF School Paloura was adjudged second by famous personalities of Music World-Saleem Merchant and Shradha Sharma.
Hailing from Khalu, Bhaderwah, now Talab Tillo, Jammu, Chirag has opted singing from class 3rd and has the distinction of participating and performing in Indian Idol Junior and Sare Gama Little Champs, Mega Show.
Mr Chirag attributes his success to his parents and his guru ‘Pt Hari Krishan Sharma’.
