JAMMU, Apr 27: Athletes from Jammu and Kashmir delivered an impressive performance at the 4th Edition of Run for Sindhu Marathon held in Chandigarh today.
Seema Kharyal of Jammu secured the 4th position in the 10 km run in the 45–59 years category. The 52-year-old athlete also served as the Brand Ambassador of the event, adding to her distinction. In another notable performance, Rekha Katoch from Jammu clinched the 3rd position in the 10 km run in the 60+ age category.
Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh Gulab Chand Kataria felicitated Seema Kharyal during the closing ceremony for her achievement and role as brand ambassador.
Both athletes showcased exceptional determination and fitness, proving that age is no barrier to achievement and setting an inspiring example of women empowerment and healthy living.
