JAMMU, Apr 28: The Jammu Adventure Sports Club held its 16th Annual Cycle Rally, here today.
The Rally was flagged off at 6:30 am from Bahu Plaza and culminated at Green Fields School, Gandhinagar.
A large number of children drawn from various schools enthusiastically participated in the rally, spreading the message of this year’s Rally Slogan Go Green-Go Solar.
Earlier, Sandip A Sethi, chairman of the Club presented welcome address. Meanwhile, 1st prize of cycle was won by Smakesh Langer of Jodhamal Public school sponsored by M/s J K Machines dealers of Inter Solar Systems (P) Ltd, the 2nd cash prize for mobile phone won by Bhavya Jain of Presentation Convent School sponsored by Kuldeep Wahi of Jewel Hotels and the 3rd prize was watch given by Manmohan Wahi won by Paras Sharma of Army Public School Kaluchak.
Various cash prizes of Rs 2000 by Nitco Roadways and Rs 3500 by the Club were announced.
The general secretary of the Club, Mala Broca presented vote of thanks on the occasion.
