RAJOURI, June 2: The Inter Zonal District Level Tournament in Rajouri is in full swing, showcasing spirited competition across Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball. Boys and girls from Under-14 and Under-17 categories are participating with great enthusiasm.
Upper Belt (Rajouri) Zone dominated in Kabaddi and Kho-Kho, winning across all categories except the Under-17 girls’ Kho-Kho, which was clinched by the Lower Belt Zone. In Volleyball, Lower Belt girls excelled in both age categories. The boys’ Under-14 Volleyball title went to Upper Belt, while Lower Belt secured the Under-17 title.
District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Mohd Qasim, graced the event as chief guest, praising the athletes for their dedication and sportsmanship. Observers Rajinder Singh and Mir Aalam ensured fairness, while ZPEO Baljarallan, Wali Mohd, efficiently supervised the tournament.
